Victory Memories: WE WANT YOURS!
Do you remember the first movie you saw at the Victory Theatre in Holyoke? Did you ever work at the Victory or know someone who did? Who did you go with? What was your favorite theater snack? The Massachusetts International Festival of the Arts (MIFA) wants to know!
MIFA is looking for people to come and share their memories of the Victory Theatre! Each Victory memory will be recorded and incorporated into a special Victory tribute.
The “Victory Memories” mobile museum exhibit will be held Sunday, October 9, 2016, from 12 noon – 2:00pm on the Front Terrace of Holyoke Heritage State Park, as part of Next Stop Holyoke. The exhibit will display a collection of MIFA’s historical information and artifacts of the Victory Theatre for everyone to see.
Rain location will be inside the Holyoke Heritage State Park Visitors Center. This event is free and open to the public.
