Pianist Judith Gordon gave her New York debut recital at the Metropolitan Museum of Art ‘Introductions’ series. With the Boston Pops, the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Boston Modern Orchestra Project, Collage New Music and Essential Music, she’s been featured in diverse repertory from Bach to Boulez.
Gordon collaborates with a wide range of composers, instrumentalists, and singers, and was named a Boston Globe ‘Musician of the Year’. As guest artist and teacher, she returns most often to the Bennington Chamber Music Conference, the Dilijan Chamber Music Series in Los Angeles, the Charlottesville Chamber Music Festival, ChatterABQ in New Mexico, and Music from Salem, where she is a consulting director.
A member of the Smith College faculty since 2006, Gordon is a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, where she received an Outstanding Alumni Award.
