“This show is a historical perspective of my work documenting how it develops from the exploration stage to the maturity of that discovery. It was as if I was an alchemist mixing pigments, clay, wood chips and passion until something, some thing of value to me, appeared. Using paintings, drawings, and sculptures, each is a stepping‐stone along a continuous path. The path, to date, has taken 36 years.”

ABOUT DAVID BOWERMAN – Mr. Bowerman’s background includes a BS and MS in industrial engineering and a ten-year corporate career at a manufacturing company. At age 33, leaving behind his executive position, Bowerman began the process of learning to draw and paint. Building on part time lessons, during three years, he worked full time developing the skills necessary to express a vision that began to unfold. Bowerman’s intent was to learn to create work that expresses what is beautiful, meaningful and relevant. His process from beginning to a mature original vision has taken 36 years. Bowerman lives in Springfield, MA and is married with two sons. For more info, visit www.davidbowerman.studio.

New to the local jazz scene, CCJ is quickly developing an enthusiastic following. Listeners delight in the band’s ability to connect with Swing that swings, soulful blues and ballads, bebop, and commitment to the lyrics of the Great American Songbook tunes.
