Lord of the Flies, adapted for the stage by Nigel Williams, brings William Golding's 1954 novel to life in a haunting exploration of humanity's descent into savagery. Stranded on a deserted island, a group of British boys spiral into chaos, battling for power and survival. This high school production delves into themes of civilization versus barbarism, the loss of innocence, and the darkness lurking within us all. Strong performances by Eila Ramoth (Ralph), Cian Callahan (Jack), and Darius Baez (Piggy) fuel the intense drama. A minimalistic, student-built set and custom lighting amplify the isolation and tension, drawing the audience deep into the psychological turmoil of the boys’ unraveling. This live adaptation brings Golding's chilling story to its raw, emotional core. The production is presented with permission from Faber & Faber and is generously sponsored by MIFA Victory Theater.
